RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
Conditions of returns and cancellations

All orders should be inspected upon receipt.

Should you not be entirely satisfied with your product, please inform LIT Computers in writing within 7 days of delivery by emailing us on [email protected] . The reason for the return must be clearly stated, and photos included where applicable.

Should the return be accepted, LIT Computers may offer you a refund, store credit (gift voucher), exchange or repair if applicable. LIT Computers will also provide you with return instructions.

No refunds or exchanges will be offered after 7 days of receipt of your product(s).

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unopened, unused and in the same condition that you received it. All original accessories must be included, and the item(s) must also be in its original packaging.

A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns to be processed.
Non-returnable items
- Gift cards;
- Downloadable software products;
- Hardware with broken seals; and
- Sale items.

All shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amounts that may be due to the customer, regardless of the refund method used (e.g. refund, exchange and/or store credit).
Shipping of item(s)

Customers can arrange their own couriers for items to be returned, or alternatively, couriers can be arranged by LIT Computers.

Customers will be liable for all courier costs associated with the return of a product. Where applicable, these courier costs may be deducted from any refund amount that may be due to the customer.

When arranging own couriers, customers are advised to use reputable courier companies and to consider insuring their shipment if applicable.

Please do not return any item to the manufacturer(s).

All items must be returned to LIT Computers in their original packaging.

Appropriate protective packaging (such as bubble wrap) must be used to ensure that items are not damaged during transit. LIT Computers will not be liable for any items damaged in transit due to inadequate protective packaging used by the customer, and reserves the right to deduct any associated costs to repair or replace the damaged item(s) from the refund/exchange/store credit amount should inappropriate packaging be used by the customer.

LIT will inspect the product upon receipt and where applicable, the product may be sent back to the respective manufacturer and/or supplier for further assessment.
Refunds

Should the return be accepted, LIT Computers may offer you a refund, store credit (gift voucher), exchange or repair if applicable

There are certain situations where only partial refunds may be granted, for example:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
- Courier costs are not refundable.

Should a refund be approved, the credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, or alternatively store credit/gift vouchers will be issued within 7 business of days.

If your refund does not appear to reflect after this time, kindly check your bank statements. Depending on your bank, the refund may reflect under the original purchase date (as opposed to the refund date).

WARRANTY

All new products have a 6-month limited warranty, unless otherwise specified.

Unless explicitly stated, all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in respect of our products are excluded.

Warranties are void and do not apply if goods are altered or damaged by the customer in any way, or if the product has not been used in line with manufacturer’s instructions.

Should you wish to return a faulty product, please inform LIT Computers in writing by emailing us on [email protected]. LIT Computers will provide you with instructions for returning a defective product.

Please do not return any faulty item(s) to the manufacturer(s).

LIT will inspect the faulty product upon receipt and where applicable, the product may be sent back to the respective manufacturer and/or supplier for further assessment.

Should a faulty item still be under warranty, it may be repaired (or replaced) by the manufacturer according to the specified warranty details.

Should the supplier determine that there are no defects and find the item to be in working order, the item will be returned to the customer at their expense.

Should the supplier determine that the item is faulty due to user negligence or other reasons not covered by their respective warranties, the manufacturer may issue a quotation for repairs. Should the customer not accept the quotation, no repairs will be done and the item will be returned to the customer as is at the customer’s expense.
